| Team Nicaragua and Team DR |
For 2013-2014, we have the privilege of taking two teams out on mission trips through Students International. During spring break, we traveled with Team Nicaragua and had a most amazing time working and serving in different ministry sites. The entire team went to be a blessing and to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the people of Nicaragua, and we came back more blessed and encouraged than we thought possible! Next, we are getting ready to head out with Team Dominican Republic this summer (June 1-14). We are so excited for what the Lord has in store for our team and how He is going to work in and through each member! Please be praying with us as we make final preparations to leave this coming Sunday night!

ReplyDeleteI would tell you all to get some rest tonight, but I think if I were about to depart for a 2-week missions trip I would be far too excited to sleep much. May the Mighty God, Saviour of all who will call upon Him in faith go before you, keep you in the way, and bring you into the place He has prepared for you (Exodus 23:20). May He uphold you by His righteous right hand and by His free Spirit (Isaiah 31:10, Psalm 51:12). May you be used to meet practical, material needs as well as minister grace to everyone you encounter, to bring the hope of the Gospel to lost souls and encourage believers, And may you receive in return joy unspeakable and full of glory (I Peter 1:8)
I wish very much I was going with you all, but I have my own smaller mission of grace to embark upon with my own family, none of whom are believers. It is my father's 90th birthday on the 13th. Please pray I will be a blessing, a witness, and a testimony before them. I will pray for all of you.
