The kids are glad to be able to sleep in a little bit this morning before heading off to their excursions! The majority of the group is headed to ziplining, while just a few of us are going to go tour a coffee plantation.
Yesterday after sites were done, we went to Casa Grande where the interns stay and shopped at a little store that the different sites put on with paintings and cards and purses, etc. that people in the communities had made. Then, we all had dinner in our host family’s homes before meeting back up to have some team time back at the community center. It was a blessing to hear how the kids’ days went and the ways that God is already impacting them, and they’ve only had one day in the sites!!
We’re excited for the weekend, but also excited to get back into our sites on Monday and see what else the Lord has for us! Here are a few pictures I was able to get of some of the sites yesterday on the tour!
