Today the team went through orientation and learned about Dominican history and culture. The kids really enjoyed getting to go to their sites after lunch, meeting their site leaders and learning about what they will be doing during their time here! Then after dinner, the kids were able to take part in Culture Night, where they were able to play some Dominican games and try a couple local treats.
Tomorrow we will all finally get to experience a "normal" day, starting with worship and devotions followed by a whole day serving in our ministry sites.
