Whew! Today was the first "regular" day for everyone in the ministry sites, and it was wonderful. Heritage was able to have "Team Time" specific to our group tonight, in which many of the students shared how much they have been touched by their site leaders' hearts for the Lord and the joy of the Dominican believers and children. And, it was their first full day! So, needless to say, we are so excited for what the Lord has in store for us during the rest of our time here!
In going through a full day in the sites, though, we now realize that the schedule for the next week and a half is definitely packed with many night activities as well. Additionally, we just found out that there will be very, very limited availability to the internet for us to update our blog during the rest of our time here. We will still try to get updates out as much as possible, but they will not be able to be as frequent and pictures may not be able to be included in posts or via Flickr. However, the Students International staff here in the Dominican has reassured us that they will be updating their Facebook page with pictures that they will be taking throughout the trip. Here is the link for their page: https://www.facebook.com/stintdr.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
