After getting off the plane in Santiago, the team rode to the Students International base in Jarabacoa. Some of the kids even serenaded us along the way! We made it in time to be able to move into our rooms, organize our donations, and grab some dinner with the other team from Florida who's here for the next two weeks with us. Some of us also loved getting to catch up with Dan Grozenski for a little bit tonight, as he came by to welcome us!
Tomorrow morning, we will be going through an orientation with the team coordinators before meeting our site leaders and getting to spend half a day with them! For now, we're going to try to get to bed early to recuperate from the plane trip! Thanks for all of your prayer and support.
